Lawrence Leroux
I am a clinician-scientist working at the intersection of anesthesiology, resuscitation science, and artificial intelligence. My mission is to improve neurologically intact survival from cardiac arrest through technology-driven innovation.
As a staff anesthesiologist at Hôpital Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal and clinical researcher at Université de Montréal, I lead multiple projects spanning AI-guided defibrillation, prehospital ECPR systems, and hospital operations optimization.
I believe that the future of resuscitation lies in personalized, real-time decision support—systems that can analyze physiological signals during CPR and guide clinicians toward optimal interventions, even in the most chaotic prehospital environments.
